Music time!!!

Next week the Music Festival begins with country dancing. People all over the country can come. The festival is based in Lochgilphead Joint Campus in the hall. It goes from pianos to dancing spread over two weeks. It is a fun week for everyone.

Lots of people who have musical instruments like the flute, oboe and the clarinet are taking part in the Music Festival 2008. There are a lot of different schools taking part so there are a lot of entries.

Lorna and Madeline’s Duet

Lorna and Madeline are playing a duet on thei Clarinet and Flute. They are playing Early One Morning. They are against Emma and Hannah. Good Luck to both of them!!!!!!!!!!!


Dance Club

At Lochgilphead we have a dance club, it is really fun. We get to do cheerleading and streetdancing, where we do routines with pompoms. It is really enjoyable. The boys go to football and girls can go too. the boys can go to dance club but they enjoy football more.

Clan Elections

On Thursday 20th, March the school is having clan elections. That’s when Primary 4 to 7 elect a boy and a girl to be their clan captain and vice captain. There are 4 clans, Kintyre are the red clan, Cowal are the blue clan, Knapdale are the yellow clan and Lorn are the green clan. . . . .Kintyre are the best clan because me and Duncan are in it 🙂 🙂

Maths and Science day

On Thursday the 13.3.08 we participated in a Maths and Science day, which was very interesting. I have to say the High School’s school dinner was definitely the best bit. I was sick because it was so nice and I ate too much! 🙂

20,000 steps FOR SPORTS RELIEF

March 19, 2008

Blair,Mini,Chirs,Liam did 20,000 steps for Sports Relief. We ran around Lochgilphead Joint Campus 4 times then gave up on that so we ran up and down 55 steps. We had to do that 85 times each.

We raised £165.55 altogether.
